People are clever. We ex-pats are supposed to respect the Ramadan tradition of fasting during daylight hours. In an effort to ‘hide’ our having a cup of coffee or tea during the daylight hours, we’ve covered the window in the kitchen. So we stand inside our kitchen, out of the ‘public’ view.

And calm is restored to the ex-pats.
